The Pr ’Kolenco farm is located in a typical Gorenjska village, Zgornje Gorje. Zgornje Gorje is located only 5 km away from Bled. We are engaged in organic food production and animal breeding, which also includes the breeding of Slovenian autonomous Lipizzaner horses. Thus, on our farm we offer off-road riding with Lipizzaner for tourists in the summer season.
Since the farm is located on the edge of the Triglav National Park, we have excellent starting points for the start of idyllic off-road riding in nature. Anyone who knows how to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of nature offered by the Triglav National Park and its surroundings will always come in a good mood from such off-road riding.
DESCRIPTION OF RIDING ROUTES
Flowering meadows, numerous fields, mountains, hay-racks, huts, shepherds’ huts, pastures, beautiful views of Lake Bled and the surrounding hills… you can experience all this from the horse’s back. Thus, we have prepared various riding trails for you, which you choose based on your riding skills, experience and your endurance.
SHORT, EASY WAY (2 URI)
The path leads us through the small village of Krnica over a wooden bridge, where we already enter the Triglav National Park. We ride along the edge of the river Radovna, which flows through the valley. Since the Radovna valley has only a few inhabitants, the trail offers us riding in idyllic, peaceful nature.
MOUNTAIN TRAIL (4 HOURS)
We take everything we need for the trip with us, load it into the saddlebags and we are ready. At the beginning of the valley of the river Radovna, we begin to climb towards the top of the plateau Mežakla. At the top, the Julian Alps appear magnificently in front of us. Let’s take a sip of our drink and continue our way back into the valley. In the valley we cross the cold river Radovna several times, where our horses also refresh themselves.
PATH THROUGH THE FOREST AGAINST KNOWLEDGE (2 URI)
We ride through the forest to the Rčitno mountain, where herds of animals still graze freely. We continue our way past lonely weekends towards the lookout point ‘Hotunc’ above Zatrnik. If the weather is clear, we have a beautiful view of Triglav and the other Julian Alps on one side and the Karavanke and Kamnik-Savinja Alps on the other. Then we set off on the way home.
ROUTE THROUGH GREEN MEADOWS (2.5 HOURS)
We ride through the forest to the Rčitno mountain, where herds of animals still graze freely. On the way we come to an interesting vantage point, where in clear weather you can see the entire Lake Bled.
ALPINE VALLEY ROUTE (6 HOURS)
Along the river Radovna, which we cross several times, we ride over lonely flowering meadows. After a few kilometers we reach the hidden lake Kreda, where chalk was once mined from it, due to which it also has a characteristic bright green color. We can also swim in the lake and refresh ourselves before continuing our way towards the Psnak farm. At the Psnak farm we can treat ourselves to a traditional Slovenian lunch or just “carp”, which are typical of the local environment (by arrangement). After an excellent refreshment, we continue our way towards the alpine valley of Krma, where we will enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains as well as Triglav, the highest Slovenian mountain.
* Each route can be adjusted to your wishes and agreed before departure.
* We reserve the right to change the route in case of bad weather or any unforeseen circumstances.
* At your request, we also organize off-road riding, which lasts 1-2 days. We spend the night in Pokljuka, where dinner and breakfast are also included.

Transport to the starting point and back is organized by us.
Every rider needs to know that he is riding at his own risk. We provide you with a helmet that you must wear for your own safety. Before leaving, tell us what experience you have, that we know how to organize a trip together according to your experience and endurance, so that the trip will remain in your fondest memory. Before going to the field, be sure to tell us if you have any health problems so that we will be able to react properly if anything happens.
You can take a bottle of water, your personal belongings and a camera or a camera with you.
